Manager, Healthcare Continuous Improvement

As a Continuous Improvement Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for working with clients and Strata team members to implement Continuous Improvement Solutions and to develop effective improvement structures and processes. The Implementation Manager is responsible for ensuring that clients have a world class experience with our Strata Decision client services teams and software, driving financial benefit through the use of CI for the organization. 

As a CI Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to implement, to adopt and to optimize our Continuous Improvement software, driving best practices in Cost and Quality Improvement for our clients.

Responsibilities, not limited to:

  • Lead a team of client service professionals in implementing and optimizing Strata Decision software solutions for multiple healthcare providers across the country. Implementation includes defining user requirements, configuring the system to meet requirements, validating functionality, and testing key features and outputs of the software.
  • Analyze the corporate culture, existing improvement structures, and existing improvement tools to define a highly effective improvement process and structure.
  • Lead the client executive leadership team through the process of restructuring their business processes and culture to optimize decision-making and planning related to continuous improvement.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into project tasks so that the software is delivered on-time, on-budget, and with a high degree of quality. Collaborate with implementation consultants of other solutions, product management, and software development to develop and refine the StrataJazz Continuous Improvement module.
  • Utilize financial, business, and organization data to develop effective analyses and communicate complex findings to clients and colleagues. Assess client training needs for specific features and functions; lead onsite and web-based client training for clients to promote strong system utilization, user adoption, and significant cost savings.
  • Identify project risks, communicate proactively and collaborate with both clients and internal resources to resolve risks and mitigate issues.
  • Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine implementation configuration.
  • Work with technical staff to resolve customer issues within contracted Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Measure and communicate the outcome of software implementations at client sites. Continue to work with CI clients post go-live to coordinate upgrades, the latest functionality, and promote new feature adoption.

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. degree or foreign academic equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Master of Healthcare Administration or Master in Business Administration preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare finance, or a similar role within a healthcare provider
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional and/or academic background in SQL and relational database concepts
  • An understanding of financial concepts, including financial statement analysis
  • Ability to respond to client needs as they arise
  • A drive to learn quickly and constantly adapt to new challenges
  • Strong self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively with limited guidance when necessary
